GRANTS - APPLICATION PROCESS - FAQ - APPLICATIONS AND DEADLINES
How do we apply?
To apply for grants, simply submit the application and required supporting materials prior to the established deadline. Some grant applications are available for download, while others will need to be completed using an online form. Eventually, all of our applications will be available in the online-only format.

When is the application deadline?
Application deadlines vary. Most grant programs only accept applications once a year. Please refer to each grant program for more information.

Where do we submit our application?
Paper applications are submitted to the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation (230 Ohio Street, Suite 100, Oshkosh WI 54902).

Online applications are submitted electronically to the Program Director. Online applications are not submitted until you click 'Review and Submit'.

How do we create an online account?
To submit grants online, you will need to create an online account. To create a new account, click 'Apply Online' and indicate that you are a 'new online applicant.' Enter your e-mail and personal password to start the application process.

How do we access our saved applications?
After you register, you will receive an e-mail confirming your password information. That e-mail will include a link for you to access your saved applications. Visit that link, or click on 'Review Saved Application' to finish an application you've already started.

What if we don't know our tax ID number?
A valid tax ID numbers is required to apply for grants. If you do not enter a valid tax ID number, the system will not allow you to continue with your application. If you do not know your tax ID number, please refer to your IRS form 990 or your most recent financial audit.

How do I attach the supporting documents?
There will be a spot to upload the supporting documents when completing the online application. If submitting a paper application, please include one copy of each supporting document requested.

Where do I download the budget worksheet?
Applicants are required to complete our budget worksheet to document their grant program budget. Budget worksheets can be downloaded under the 'Supporting Documents' section of each grant listing.

When are applications available online?
Grant applications are typically available online 1-2 months prior to the application deadline.

If we're awarded a grant, how much will we get?
Grant awards vary based on the funds available and the number of grants that meet the application criteria.

Can we receive more than one grant?
Yes, you can apply for as many grants as you are eligible and may be selected to receive any or all.
