Neenah students awarded $57,000 in scholarships - June 12 2013

OSHKOSH, WI -- The Oshkosh Area Community Foundation awarded a total of $57,000 in scholarships to 40 Neenah High School seniors.

"I would like to thank all of our donors for their generous support of our scholarship and designated funds," said Jon Joch, director of revenue enhancements & business services support for the Neenah Joint School District. "Working together, we are able to provide financial support to a number of graduating seniors as they begin their post-secondary academic careers next fall."

The Community Foundation administers more than 20 scholarship funds for the Neenah Joint School District. Scholarship recipients are chosen based on outstanding work in the classroom, extra-circular activities and community involvement.

The following Neenah High School students received scholarships during a ceremony on May 22, 2013, at Pickard Auditorium on the campus of Neenah High School:

The Neenah Joint School District has 28 funds under management with the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation. Those funds include designated funds, which support programs, and scholarship funds, which support students who seek higher education. The scholarships listed here were awarded through the scholarship funds at the Community Foundation.
